Question Touch Rangers

Does anyone still play them?

I don't see much discussion about them anymore and was wondering if I'm the only one who still occasionally plays one.

I usually only see them when I'm doing AB, the good thing about them is that in 1v1 fights they can usually do pretty well, in any other fights they drop

Various forms still very good for general farming, bosses/greens, dust/feather farm, UW etc.

I admit to using my touch ranger build but only in RA, the VERY RARE occasion that I actually do RA.

I play one in PvE on occasion for farming, bosses, solo missions and quests, and whatnot. I usually have one of my ranger heroes equipped as one for The Great Dufus or Cyndr.

last one I saw was in RA. maybe one month ago.

I rly hate to play against them, as a melee class u can't do stuff against them. So you run and they fllw you and arrgh...

But I also hate to play it^^ Boring as hell.

I never see them now. Most rangers in PvP just interrupt these days.

Personally i love using my Touch Ranger in RA although people hate me for it... I may attempt to make my Splinter Weapon ranger into a touch ranger in due time.

The UW toucher solo build is even more lucrative since the UW update. My smite runs are faster than they were with good trapping groups and the new skeles are cake. See PvX for examples. Sure, you might find faster ways to farm, but it is a fun challenge.

this, and unholy feast was buffed with a quicker recharge a few months ago which makes the uw smite run even easier

I use a touch build for "speedbooking" (not sure you can really call it that since it's way slower) on my ranger to clear ATFH.
